Hello everyone,
The grade both grade 7 classes will have their Structures test next week.
The dates are as follows:
7E - Tuesday December 10th, 2013
7F - Wednesday December 11th, 2013
The test will be on the following topics:
1. 4 classifications of structures
2. Internal vs external forces (know examples and definitions of them)
3. Dynamic load, static load and total load (definitions and examples)
4. Structural components (e.g., beams, arches, trusses) and structural shapes (e.g., triangles and rectangles)
5. Designing for safety (sensors)
6. Structural stress and structural failure
I will be available after school from 3:30 - 4:30 for help if needed this week on Wednesday and Friday. I will also be available after school next Monday before the test.
